Kazys Venclov

Born in 1962 In the village of Pasertupis, Kretinga district

Since 1990 Member of the Union of Lithuanian Artists

He works as a teacher at the branch of Justinas Vienožinskis art school in New Vilnius.

Education

 

1982 - 1988 studied sculpture at the State Art Institute

1975 - 1982 studied at MK Čiurlionis Art School

Personal and group exhibitions

Since 1990 participates in exhibitions and international symposia in Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Germany, Italy, France, Finland, Slovakia, Sweden, Great Britain, Russia, Japan. Organized nine personal exhibitions.

Scholarships and awards

2021 of the creation of the monument to Antanas Smetona and its access to the building on Gediminas Ave. 13, in Vilnius, the winner of the competition for the artistic-architectural idea of installation

2015 first place in the competition for the memorial sculpture of the graves of soldiers of the Lithuanian army, Antakalnis cemetery, Vilnius

2012 Lithuanian Artists' Union golden badge no. 037
